A not in the city center of Athens central hotel for your business trip

When someone plans or goes on vacation to any city and place of the world, the standard things that are being prepared and searched before the trip are the main points of interest of the potential destination, the monuments, the main, full-of-life (shopping) streets, parks, bars and restaurants. When the word “vacation” and “trip” does not appear alone but it is accompanied by the controlling noun “business”, thus constraining the genuine fun and creative anxiety someone experiences when organising his/her holidays, then it’s a whole different conversation. At first, I was thinking that it is not a topic to write about, to be honest, as it is always more joyful and heart-warming to talk about places you adored, new experiences you pursuit and different things you tried. However, it comes to my understanding that choosing a specific area of a city and, even more the right hotel for your business stay can be a very stressful process for the one traveling to the business meeting point. It was not my first time to Athens, so I had already visited the rock of Acropolis and the titular museum along with a bunch of other classic monuments of Athens (the temple of the Olympian Zeus, the ancient Agora, the Panathenaic stadium etc) but either way, visiting numerous monuments was not my first priority. Based on the above thinking, I did my research and I decided to stay in one of the Athenian branches of Civitel Hotels, the Civitel Olympic, which is situated on the uprising and rapidly developing area of Maroussi at the northern suburbs of Athens (the group also includes Civitel Attik also located at Maroussi). I saved 15% of the...
